Mint-Award for COMSYS student Roman Matzutt

COMSYS Roman Matzutt was awarded with the third place of the <link http: www.mint-award-informatik.de>MINT-Award Informatik 2013 at the OOP conference in Munich for his Bachelor thesis entitled "User-Controlled Utilization of Sensor Data for Cloud Computing". In his thesis, Roman helped with the design of a security architecture for <link>SensorCloud, a joined research project with several partners from academia and industry. The main goal of this security architecture is to enable the owner of sensor data to remain in control over her data when offloading it to cloud environments for storage and processing purposes. Based on his prototype implementation, Roman conducted a thorough performance analysis of the developed security architecture and was able to prove its general feasibility. Roman's thesis was advised by René Hummen and Martin Henze. Congratulations to Roman. We are looking forward to celebrate with him once he is back in Aachen :-)
