Professor Salil Kanhere from UNSW Sydney will stay with COMSYS starting from August 2022 until the end of October 2022 as part of his Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Award. With this prestigious award, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation recognizes about about 20 internationally renowned scientists each year. The Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Award allows the awardee to conduct a research project of their choice at a German research institution.
We are happy that Salil Kanhere chose to work with COMSYS to explore the use of blockchain technology for applications in industrial cyber-physical systems and evolving mechanisms for the future Internet.
After some COVID19-related delays, we can finally say: Welcome, Salil!
