I'm a postdoctoral researcher and head of the CPS (Cyber-Physical Systems) group at COMSYS.
I received my Master's Degree at RWTH Aachen University in 2011, I graduated on "Heuristic Based Synchronization in Parallel Discrete Event Simulations using Automatic Dependency Analysis". From 2011 till 2012, I worked as a Research Scholar at Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) in the group of Prof. George Riley. I received my Doctorate Degree in 2019 on "Automated Optimization of Discrete Event Simulations without Knowing the Model".
My research interests are in Discrete Event Simulation and Parallel Programming, targeting highly efficient Network Simulations, but also in Cyber-Physical Systems with a particular emphasis on power grids.
