FootPath is an infrastructure-less indoor navigation system that uses step detection, heading estimation, and sequence alignment algorithms to provide accurate turn-by-turn directions without relying on GPS or additional RF infrastructure. Integrated with OpenStreetMap, it enables easy deployment and mapping for protected environments like historical buildings, archaeological sites, and hospitals.

RatPack develops a novel system for monitoring animal ecological and social networks in the wild using programmable sensor nodes attached to animals to record data like motion, vocalizations, and body temperature. The project addresses challenges like sporadic connectivity and subterranean environments by employing delay-tolerant networking schemes for data collection and analysis.
